About:
This programme educates students on the bigger picture of food waste in our agri-food supply chain and how we can innovatively reduce waste. Students will also learn about the types of waste we generate and various waste disposal methods along with their limitations.
Live insects will be used in this workshop to demonstrate the various types of waste it can breakdown along with its functional uses and by-product.
Students will be given mini investigative projects for experimentation and report their findings thereafter.

Students will learn about life-cycle according to MOE's syllabus and take a hands-on approach to care for their mealworms while observing them as they metamorphosis into beetles.
The programme will also educate students on the practicality of upcycling and why it matters.
The mealworms in our life-cycle kit will pupate within 10 days.

About:
Students will take a hands-on approach to learn how they can turn daily kitchen waste into organic fertilisers for plants.
Apart from learning about composting and its limitations. The programme will educate students on the biology of earthworms and the conditions required to expedite composting.
Neglected compost bins can be refunded to offset future programme fees.
